You can find "Toggle eraser" in hot-buttons(hotkeys) - this function convert current brush to eraser.

This little function is just one of the best of paintstorm ! I can draw by erasing the same way I draw by putting digital ink. Than is for that !

I understand that text feature is not a priority for you. But you may reconsider your position to make paintstorm on iOS a real tool for comics maker-mangaka-bébédistes; we need a tool for implementing dialogs in our pages. As is, I'm stuck with Photoshop on my laptop.

No, I usually quit by clicking the home button as it is the common rule for iOS app. I even didn't Know there was a quit option in a menu. May be my problems come from here. But I have to admit that old way of doing is not very ipad friendly.
