Re: Rasterized Artifacts
When using a soft brush try turning on OR off the "GPU" checkbox in the brush settings. Unfortunately, I can't give an exact answer to that problem, but I contacted the support months ago and they helped me out. It was either because of that checkbox being turned on or off (but I don't remember whic...

Re: Scribble brush?
Glad to hear that! You're welcome!
By the way, if you need this kind of pen for ideation purposes I'd rather recommend using the (free) software called "alchemy". In case you're not familiar with this you should give it a try: http://al.chemy.org/

I also randomized the angle and it will change up depending on your stroke speed and angle of the pen. But you should try the pen by yourself because the im...

Integrating/using a "gamut" mask in Paintstorm Studio
Hi! Those of you who have read the book "Color and Light" by James Gurney, (or know the works and workshops of Richard Robinson) might be familiar with the idea and use of a gamut mask to achieve color harmony within your paintings. (If not, I highly recommend researching it yourself, because if I t...

Re: LAB sliders
I, too, would prefer to have some other sliders besides the standard HSV and RGB. LAB and/or HSL would be a neat addition indeed.

Re: Tree (Hard conte pastel)
Turned it into a painting. Originally I had other colors in mind (more withered, grey and rusty), but I got carried away.

Thx for writing the post, though. I had the same problem but somehow wasn't aware of either solution.

Issue with the "Quad gradient" color mixer
Hi, I noticed something with the "Quad gradient" color mixer in the "Color Swatches" window and I tried to visualize it in the screenshot shown below. I chose 3 starting colors, filled the mixer 4 different times (clockwise), made a screenshot each time, and re-picked the colors in the corners of th...
