Agh! Can I recover saved brushes?

On my iPad Pro I accidentally deleted a brush category full of brushes I had developed. I had most of them saved to iTunes but when I re-import most of them appear as a generic brush named "blender pencil" and not as originally named, what's worse is they have none of the brush settings as saved originally.

Are they gone forever? There should really be a "are you sure you wish to delete category" warning as I only tapped the button accidently as it is next to the Create Category button.
