I was trying to reset the manga hair brush to default (flat bristle brushes) and now it's gone from the list entirely.
How can I get it back?

I think I pushed either "reset current category" or "reset all brushes" and got a warning that all my brushes would be lost but I thought that just meant the changes I applied to them. I didn't realize it meant it would delete the brush completely!

yes, if you'll reset category - all brushes in this category will be reset. But you can save(export) current category, restore it, and import saved category as a new one.

Thank you. So in the flat brush category I tried:

Export Brushes > Export Current Category > *saved* > Import Brushes

And the manga hair brush did not come back. I did not see option for "restore".

After that operation, you should get 2 same categories, original and imported... back to original and choose: "Restore current category" (at the end of the screenshot list).
