Organizing Layers

I figured out how to move layers, and add folders... but for some reason I can't get the layers to be added TO the folders? It seems like the only way to get layers inside a folder is to make a folder and then add layers to it, but is there a way to move the existing layers TO the folder?

Because that seems to be an issue for the program and I can't figure out how to get the layers I have already painted into folders in order to organize them.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here:

Yeah, this is pretty bad. I can't seem to find a way to drag existing layers into a folder, either. Like you, the only way I can find to add layers to a folder is to create the folder first and then create new layers in the folder. But that does not help since I often need to shove layers into folders later to organize them as I am working.

Is there a work-around for this? Or are there plans to fix this soon?

Thanks!

You can drag layers into a group, the only way I know how to do it is one layer at a time.

Try dragging up to the right side of the folder. It is very hard, to say the least.

Update: After you have created the folder, select it to open it before trying to drag layers to it.

I just tried it in the latest version (2.20), and you can now drag multiple layers into a group, I am using PC version not sure if that makes a difference.
