Temporary hotkeys

Post by Krokkie » Mon May 07, 2018 12:46 pm

Up to now I have mostly worked on Clip Studio Paint and I am used to a certain workflow built around my hotkey setup, especially these on my Wacom pen. I tried to set it up the same on Paintstorm Studio but am running into problems.

I have the bottom button on my pen assigned to "Pan" and the top button to "color picker". I can get that right in Paintstorm Studio but what I can't get right (which I'm used to in Clip Studio Paint) is that e.g the Pan function is only temporary in that while I hold the button in I can pan my canvas around but as soon as I let go it e.g. reverts back to the paintbrush I was using. In Paintstorm Studio I have to press "v" on the keyboard to return to the brush I was using.

I hope that somebody can advice me if I am just missing something or if this function is just not yet supported in Paintstorm Studio?

don't bind a pan tool, bind a "space" key to your pen button.
