iOS How to put brushes on "desktop"?

I was certain that it would be possible to drag brushes from the panel and drop them on the canvas view to create quick access icons for them. To my surprise it seems not possible, and I can't find any other way to do so. How am I supposed to create hotkeys/icons for brushes on iOS?

On the canvas? You can drag it to Custom panel.
