Scribble brush?

Post by mhulse » Tue Jan 01, 2019 5:07 am

Hello. Would it be possible to create a scribble/squiggle brush?

Ive tried to create one but no luck so far. Just want to know if it is even possible?

Thanks!

Do you mean something like this?
I made a custom shape (small dot) and gave it an offset, so the brush form isn't in the center of your cursor. I also randomized the angle and it will change up depending on your stroke speed and angle of the pen.

But you should try the pen by yourself because the image doesn't really show how the pen behaves. You can download it below. Also feel free to tweak the settings.

Oooooh!!! Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing! That is close to what I was thinking! Thank you so much for the help. I'm going to download and experiment with the settings now. :)

I'll post back my results if I do anything worthy of sharing.

Thank you Florian!

Glad to hear that! You're welcome!
By the way, if you need this kind of pen for ideation purposes I'd rather recommend using the (free) software called "alchemy". In case you're not familiar with this you should give it a try: http://al.chemy.org/

Oh, so cool! Alchemy looks right up my alley! I can't wait to experiment.
