How to set the eraser icon in the tools panel on the ipad

I can not figure out how to set the eraser icon in the tools panel on right of the screen, with the type of eraser I want to use. Touching the "keyboard" icon in the brush panel never
sets it correctly. I can not reset it because I can not bring up a software keyboard to hit escape.

eraser tool calls the last eraser you've used from 2nd brushes category - it's special for erasers.

Sorry, but this feature did not work on the ipad version until... i opened the brush options panel, and found that when the eraser tool was selected, it would always bring up the demo swirl brush with the eraser option set. I deleted the brush, then The eraser tool would bring up the last eraser
i used in the standard eraser group (second group in default brushes). Not sure if this is a bug, but deleting the associated brush fixed it for now.
