Paintstorm crashing on Manjaro

Hi folks

i switched to Linux and saw that Paintstorm supports officially only Ubuntu, but i have Manjaro.
There is a package in the AUR repositories, but the file is old (from last june) and seems not to work. I followed the instructions provided here to install the newest version of Paintstorm:

Paintstorm seems to work if i try it. As soon as i type in one character of my email to register my new copy, Paintstorm crashes

As i understand, Paintstorm needs just a few tweaks to work on Manjaro and these tweaks must be really minimal so i ask the develpers to supply the needed code for a perfectly working installation. Thank you in advance!

Paintstorm expects the following directories to exist:

/usr/share/fonts/truetype
/usr/share/fonts/opentype

Create them:

sudo mkdir /usr/share/fonts/truetype /usr/share/fonts/opentype
