How to make brush add color within one stroke?

Post by a_pashkin » Mon Nov 11, 2019 4:26 pm

There are brushes that add color if you repeatedly paint over the same area with the same pressure. And there are brushes that do not - amount of color just reaches certain maximum value and stays at it regardless of how much do you paint over that area with the brush and to add more color you have to start a new stroke.

What I'm trying to understand - what settings control that behavior? For instance how to make a brush of type 2 to behave like brush of type 1?

The maximum value of the "color amount" slider is a maximum of the current stroke color.

There are so many options to make a brush work. Do a search in the forum for 'Help with creating my favourite corel brush' you will find there a good explanation for the settings.
