I would like to know if is it possible to have more gradient types. And, selection feather, specially for the lasso tool

I would add, to fix the lasso,since after you select something with it,the selection expands with 1-2 pix.I think the subtract function works fine.But add and initial selection has this glitch.Overall more control in selections would be welcomed.
