symmetry tool

I love the inclusion of this tool however there are some aspects I find a tad frustration.
The little boxes to move and rotate the divisions is nice to have but it's way to easy to move them accidentally when all you have to do is click on them.
I find that using my tablet pen I often set my pen down at a point in too close of proximity to the boxes and end up moving them around. Is there an option to snap the symmetry tool back to its last position? And instead of just having to click on the boxes I suggest having it be a CTRL click to adjust the position and rotation.
