Eraser toggle

Post by Porridge » Sat Jan 30, 2021 10:41 pm

Hi

Thanks for making arguably the best pound for pound software for painting digitally. I use it extensively on multiple devices and also recommend it to my students and fellow artists.

A nifty feature, (maybe the only nifty feature) of Adobe Fresco is to hold a button to make your current brush toggle into an identical brush that erases, and then back into painting when you release the toggle.
Would love to see that in Paintstiorm, (if it does not exist somewhere I am unaware of. In which case sorry for asking a redundant question :)

Is this a feature that could be implemented in a future update?

Best regards
Johann

How about setting the "eraser" button on the brushes to a key?, I have been working on clip studio for the last two years due to a graphic novel and I got used to "painting" transparency on any brush to erase, you can do the same in Paintstorm by clicking the "eraser" setting on any brush, I just set the same key I use in Clip Studio to toggle it and works like a charm.
