When launching Paintstorm 2.00, the "Brush Resize by Drag" works properly if you use your finger to paint. The second you touch the screen with an Apple Pencil, "Brush Resize by Drag" no longer functions. You must relaunch.

Try to click screen by pen before the finger.
If you touch screen by pen, the finger-drawing is disabling. If you still want to draw by finger you need to enable it in menu-file-options.
Hold this button and drag size by the pen.

That doesn't seem to work. Is there a menu option to toggle between finger and pen mode? I can't find it.

I found that most Hotkeys work fine with the Apple pencil BUT, you have to FIRST touch and hold with a finger (I use my drawing hand's ring finger) and then touch the desired tool with the apple pencil..the resize, the color picker etc...and it works fine like that. I dont know if its intedned but once I figured that out, it just became part of my workflow.
let me know if it works for you too :)

Wow that's a crazy way to use his function... but it works! I would have never thought to do that. Thanks!
