Multi-Layer PSDs fail to open on linux

Post by allthecoffee » Sat Jul 15, 2017 10:45 pm

PSD files with more than 3 layers or with folder layers fail to open and crash the program. If they do open, then some layers are missing or their names have erroneous characters added to their names.

Yes it was created in paintstorm. It opens just fine in other programs like photoshop and krita. I should also mention that this bug varies on my systems. Both of my arch linux systems have the bug, but with different levels of severity. On one system the file will open, but be bugged. On the other, it won't open at all and will cause the program to seg fault. For some files, it will seg fault on both or open with errors on both.
