Cursor still off in the corners on Cintiq 13HD

Post by AndreasResch » Sun Apr 08, 2018 6:53 pm

Hello.

I'm about to give Paintstorm another try as a replacement for Photoshop (at least for the painting part). It's a bumpy ride and there are quite a few things that are difficult to get used to. I'll post them as suggestions later.

However - there have always been issues with the Cintiqs (in the past). In the center of the screen, the cursor is OK now if I use an offset of -3 and -3. When I get towards the corners of the screen, the cursor moves away from the tip towards the corners (about 10 pixels). This only affects the brush - not the mouse pointer. It's all fine in Photoshop.

It would be great if this could be added to the bug list.

Cheers,
Andreas

If you on Windows: Try to enable: Menu-Tablet settings-Coordinate mouse mode.
Is it same?

Very strange. To be honest it's the first report with the same bug. Some users have regular offset or not worked pen pressure, but this corner offset - I don't know what to do. Maybe some default manipulations like: install some of early Wacom drivers.

I've recalibrated my Cintiq and reset the Tablet Settings of Painstorm and things look better now. So don't bother about it for now.

Andreas
