Imported Brushes causing Paintstorm to freeze

Hi, I recently bought and installed paintstorm, and I like to use brushes created by other concept artists. But when I downloaded and imported the brushes (from crocorax, apterus etc.) and tried to use them in my document, the second the brush hits the canvas paintstorm just freezes and stops working (i have to use the task manager to close). The default brushes work fine. I use a Huion Kamvas Pro 16. I hope I can solve this problem because I prefer this application to photoshop for painting.
