HSB Shift Anomaly

Post by simon_dominic » Tue Nov 17, 2020 9:38 pm

I notice there's a difference between how Hue Shift works as compared with Saturation Shift and Brightness Shift.

When Hue Shift is set (with, say, a 'random' controller) it operates on a stroke basis. E.g. paint a single line and it's one hue. Paint another and it's another hue.

When Saturation Shift and Brightness Shift are set in the same manner, they operate on a dab basis. E.g. the Saturation / Brightness varies for every dab instance within the paint stroke.

I'm assuming it's not meant to be like this.

(Image shows three sets of lines painted with a single colour with H, S & B respectively set to randomly vary).

There is a little checkbox under the random graph: "Rand points" or "Rand strokes"
