Registration Popup on start

Could "adding" devices ( like switching on a Wacom Cintiq ) somehow affect this ?
I currently have it switched off and Paintstorm starts up properly, with no registration popup ( and also no internet access if i can believe my software firewall ).

I have blocked outbound internet access to PSS and this hasnt remedied the problem

I guess I cant ever use my software?

I hope support isn't dismissing this issue.

I would really appreciate some help as this is NOT resolved yet.
