New version overheats MacBook Pro retina

Post by novamod » Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:17 am

Greetings,

I recently upgraded to the new version of PaintStorm Studio Version 2.20-150118.
For some reason now when the program starts, the macbook gets extremely hot and the fans kick on full blast.
I do not even need to be painting.
Just having the program open is enough to turn the macbook into a hotplate.
Soon as I exit PaintStorm, the fans turn down and the heat dissipates.

Any ideas?

macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.3
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15 inch, Late 2013)
Intel Iris Pro
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M
PaintStorm Studio Version 2.20-150118

Having same issue, tried to post here on forum twice (processors load up to 400+%), none of my posts ever appeared on boards. Just bought the app, and found that even when I disable multi-core function, on next start of application, it's turned ON again! It's kinda doesn't save this preference.

I have just recently bought a MacBook Pro, and updated the system to get the new version of it, but instead, after the update, my macbook pro won't turn on black screen. What should I do to get it fixed?
