The windows october update seems to have fixed the problem. I played around with the pen settings and enabling press and hold makes the brush lag slightly so if you still have a small lag then disabling that might fix it.

I'm not sure if this has something to do with the problem. Hello, I've got Samsung notebook 9 pro and it has a working tilt in Photoshop. The device uses wintab drivers and I was thinking if it would be possible to have that tilt with Paintstorm as well.

Thanks for solving it. If anyone is interested the problem was the maxium layer limit of 300. Once you go over that you can't open the file anymore in Paintstorm. You can try to open it in another software and remove/merge some of the layers. Should fix it.
