perhaps it just feels like its crashing more because I was hoping for the instability to be adressed in the update. Deleting the app and reinstalling was one of the first thing I tried. no difference there im afraid. i do hate that im being negative here -id love to help out in any way to troublesho...

The new version seems even more unstable on iPad now I'm afraid. Getting constant crashes on auto save and save.

I'm really glad you asked the question too. I truly love the iPad version but feel it's just lacking that "final" polish (stability) and check eagerly for the latest version on a daily basis. It's so close to being the #1 go-to app for me. Stability issues are the only concern in my books

I've just discovered the joy of custom workspace buttons, so layout locking is actually fine in this case! ie: Workspace 1: Landscape (locked) Workspace 2: Portrait (locked) So, switch to the appropriate workspace before rotating the iPad and this should be fine, not losing buttons offscreen. Again, a huge fan of Paintstorm and I plan to use it pretty much for all my initial stage artwork from now on. Wherever possible. Dropbox integration on iPad is sorely missing however.. it's the primary method of transfer/backup for most apps these days as it's OS agnostic. iCloud is just not there ...
