Thanks for your help. I changed the workspace as you suggested and that works fine now. I returned to my own custom workspace and the crash starts again so it must be something to do with my custom workspace I guess. I couldn't find a folder Documents/Paintstorm studio - do you mean the Applications...

One more really strange thing. My Mac doesn't seem to recognise this as a crash. I have to force Paintstorm to close by pressing alt command esc and paint storm comes up in the list but as normal. Usually a crashed programme has something like 'Paintstorm is not responding'.

No it just crashes without a message. I have narrowed it down to using colour gradients. I realise now that the 'crashes' only happen when I try to alter the colour gradient in the brush menu. I have just bought Paintstorm for my iMac computer retina. I am having problems with frequent crashes. They seem to be partial crashes in that some of the interface still works but the all import brush stops working. Closing the program and opening again is quick enough and solves the problem but in...
