Kevin Rosenvale art selections
I really love this software so I'm going to start trying to be more a part of the community. Here's my latest: 4. Jelly Tails.jpg You can check out my other stuff on Instagram too--most of the recent stuff was done in PSS, although I do switch to Photoshop for some more advanced color adjustments: h...

Re: Suggestions about masks and clipping layers
Seconding all of this. Even if we're sticking to using the alpha channel for masking purposes, it seems backwards to me. Maybe it's just me but I would expect the alpha value of the mask to be the effective alpha value of the masked layer, e.g. a transparent pixel on the mask means that the layers b...

Further explanation of new stabilizer features?
Hi, I'm really excited about the new stabilizer features. I'm also confused about some of them. Can someone help me understand the following features: - Accelerate on cursor stop - Brush outline stabilization - Button release delay - Adjust on stroke speed I've been playing around with them trying t...

Master list of requested hotkeys?
Is there a master list somewhere of which hotkeys people have requested/which ones you are working on? I can't find anything like that and the "TO DO" topic just says "additional" and gives two examples. I searched the forum for other hotkey requests and couldn't find anything like that, so I apolog...

Re: Behind blend mode
I hadn't thought about how it would affect color blending! Might be cool to have an option to blend it with the colors above it in the current layer as well as blending with what's below. Or maybe not an option, maybe that's just how it would work. I'm not sure how other applications handle that bec...

Behind blend mode
I guess this is pretty easy to reproduce (albeit as a workaround with extra steps) with layers, but I would really like for there to be a "behind" blend mode like there is in Photoshop, Krita, and probably many others. I use it a lot in other software, enough for the layers workaround to be a real h...

Re: Work timer and brush size
Yes, we plan it, but I think it would work well only with high-end graphics cards. In real-time maybe... but if you record the entire painting process as a script, you could paint a small image that's easier to process in real-time, then theoretically enlarge the canvas to any size, start the scrip...

Re: Texture & Double Brush Blend Modes
The stabilization issue has an easy fix. Just click on the icon underneath the "Invert" radio button, it's two arrows in a circle. Then check "stabilizer." This will ensure that the dabs between the two brushes always line up, no matter what the stabilizer setting is on the dual brush. That doesn't ...
Re: Num lock
Interesting... I'm using Linux Mint; maybe it has something to do with how Linux maps the keys? Anyone else experience this?
Num lock
I can't enter any numbers with my 10-key pad. Num lock is on and the 10-key pad works fine in every other program. I like to be able to use my stylus or mouse with my right hand and enter numbers with my left, which is much easier with the 10-key.
