Pastel, Chalk Brush? How they work?

Can someone explain what I can do with those brushes? I can't do anything with them besides drawing an 1 pixel white stroke, no matter which size.

This brush spraying dots depending on pen tilt angle, so seems your tablet doesn't support pen tilt.
