It's likely that I've gone and done something terribly wrong

I have two large problems preventing me from proceeding.

First, and less tragic, my brush mark is not where my pencil tip is any longer. This happened as I was exploring brush settings and I do not know how to fix.

Second: yesterday I imported Libor's great pencil and drew with it at length. Now I was ready to try more of the factory issue brushes and cannot find any of them. It seems I only have Libor's brush/smudge/eraser combo.

I am using the purchased app on iPad Pro.

Maybe you have replaced brushes on import? Click at the bottom cogwheel of Brushes panel and select "reset all brushes" after it will be reseted, import your external category and select "Add". Also you can reset all in Paintstorm-Menu-other-reset to default
