Trouble with brush angle/rotation.

I'm still getting used to paintstorm. Lately I've been experimenting with brushes, but no matter what I do, I can't understand the angle/rotation function. I watched the video tutorials and read the guide, and I still can't get the brush to rotate correctly. Here's a video of what I'm dealing with:

When I'm hovering my pen over the tablet, the rotation seems to be working just fine: the brush is pointing the direction I want. However, every time I press the pen on the tablet, the brush turns to a completely different direction from the one I wanted. I've fiddled with all the settings, pen direction, pen tilt, stroke direction, etc, and I still can't get the brush to follow my strokes. Could anyone help me understand which settings I should change? (and yes, I am using a wacom art pen).

I see 2 cogwheels on both Angle sliders. Set "brush direction" for Angle 1 only! If you need to rotate started shape you can do it in a brush form window
