How to create a brush category and other notes

The URL below points to a document (Paintstorm Notes V1.0.doc) recording some of my experiments with creating brushes and brush categories using different forms and textures and some additional experiments as I go along. There is a post in the Custom Brushes category that will point you to two collections created as an illustration.
I had asked if this was suitable (since invariably you get a bit of my ignorance and opinion included) and it was OK'd.
I plan to keep updating this now and then and will update here if others find it useful. Apparently already too large to attach.

No, you should capture this as a brush form

This is a great guide. Thank you for creating it.
I'm not at creating brushes yet, but it's great to understand more about them and know that this guide is here for later.
I had an idea ... would a Paintstorm Studio wiki be a good idea? Just wondered if someone more online and tech and connected than myself would think this might be a good thing to do ... not pushing you to at all; just had this idea reading your post, plus I had difficulties opening the file (needed to find something to open doc files in the windows store, as I just use wordpad on Windows 8.1; a bit zen about things), An online wiki would be directly readable and, with people pooling whatever they learn, could save those involved time too? It could also make composing a manual much easier later, or many more people could just easily access the wiki directly instead. Just an idea, and sorry I wouldn't be able to add much myself; learning the (wonderful in PSS) basics, but really not about technical programs like photoshop, so am using PSS very intuitively.
Really not sure what goes into doing a wiki, but I've just seen this, which says it's an easy way:

I used to do wiki work. Funny you guys bring that up. I was just beginning to map out how I would format a manual for paintstorm. I wasnt sure how well it would go over, or if folks were even interested.
Let me know what you think.

PS: Please ignore the typing errors and duplicate entries, this is a sample draft of how I would like to present the material.
All the best,
Armor
