Problem importing photos

Hey!

I’m going to “place image”. From my photos on the IPad Pro and it keeps saying

Warning
Canvas should be no less than 64x64 pixels

I’m confused cause if I go into image and see the canvas size, it’s 4000x4000. I’ve just gotten a new iPad and i’m wondering if the issue i’m having is with the ap or the iPad?

I’m not sure what’s wrong. Usually I can import photos with no problem, and screen shots. But neither are working..

Thanks to anyone who can help me get back to my work!

Are you sure that the imported image not less than 64x64px? maybe it's some thumbnail?

I've got exactly the same problem (iPad pro 3rd gen) and I'm sure the image I'd like to import is bigger than 64x64 pixels. Also it says the Canvas should be not less than 64x64. Mine atm is 1700x2500. Any ideas? Is it something to do with screenshots? Because it's happening with them only (I think), for example if I save the same picture from Photoshop to the camera roll then it's no problem to place it.

I get this error if I take a screen shot on my ipad pro, and then try to place it into a layer. It's too big. reduce the photo in size first and then import it. It will work fine.
