How to use already purchased licence on ipad

Hello,
I have already purchased a licence, but now I got an ipad and cannot find a way to use the licence that I already have. Can anyone provide me with instructions on how to install the software from the app store without paying for it again?

All iPad apps connected to your Apple ID. You must log in by your Apple id on a new device. Google will help with details of this process :)
