Pleas can we get a long guide/line that extends past the contour of the ellipse displaying the minor axis of ellipse ruler so it makes it easier to position the ruler in the correct perspective. Thank you

It is correct explanation. The same feature You can find in SketchBookPro. Idea was popularized by Scott Robertson who also helped to design the feature in SketchBook. SketchBook's approach suffers by lack of pinning of minor axis to vanishing point.

I remember Scott showed perspective features of SketchBook in his Free Tutorial Friday videos. But unfortunately he removed TTF from YouTube
