Consider Alternative Means of Registration

Hello,
Five hours ago, I purchased Paintstorm Studio. The installation seemed to go along with issue. The problem came when I tried to use it for the first time and to register the software. I entered my correct email address (on several attempts), yet the complaint remained: Error Wrong email. I've written to the developers for help, but so far, the only thing I've received was an automated thank you for my purchase.
Suggestion One: Allowing users to register their software in more than one way; e.g., through the program's interface; or alternatively, through the painstormstudio.com registration page.
Suggestion Two: Related to both this forum and the main site, all points of entry of user names and password produce warnings in Firefox of an insecure site. Consider adopting https:// practices instead of the more vulnerable http://
