Infinite Canvas

Having the ability for an an infinite canvas instead of having to set a very large canvas size would be very useful. Then crop down or resize to a specific canvas size after would be great.
The last canvas size and DPI setting do not automatically save at end of session and each new canvas reverts to the default canvas size with 72 DPI instead of 300 which is where I want mine set to.
