[Suggestion] Clipping Mask for layer with Layer Mask

I'd like to use the clipping mask on top of a layer that has a layer mask to add effects to the bottom layer. It would be less destructive if it is possible without collapsing the layer mask.
Layer mask controls the "paint-able" area while clipping mask can be used to add effects such as multiply or overlay etc. This way the "paint-able" area can still be modified and the effect layer can also be adjusted afterwards.
