I have been using Paintstorm studio for few years now. I am really loving this software but to be honest one or two things are missing for me. If you were to add these additional features. I think a lot of new users would rush in. Because some don't like to switch between PSS and Photoshop or any other editor to do effects and adjustments outside PSS.
The suggestion is to introduce more "Filters" https://i.imgur.com/hZdNq5r.png with more options and settings for each category (example krita).
Maybe to save time, instead of coding additional filters yourself. You could implement the "Q-Mic-QT" library which already hosts over 500+ effects/filters/adjustments
. The code is open-source. (I am not software engineer/developer by any means. So i don't know if this is compatible with PSS or not. Nor if the license works for you).Another great feature would be Adjustment layers like Photoshop, Clipstudio, Krita have.
