toolwindows have become transparent

Post by WXM » Wed May 18, 2016 5:26 am

I Don't know if someone else has already brought this up in a past issue, but i did try looking.Whenever i load up the program it loads up the majority of everything, but most of the toolwindows are completely transparent (screenshot below). This is relatively new for me it only occurred within approximately the last week. The first time it happened was the third time i started the program after updating to the newest version from the 1.32 version, and it has continued to happen since. the odd thing is that the program technically still works i just have to find which buttons are which without picking the wrong thing and making it worse. if it is something i did, could someone please tell me a way i can fix it?

You can try to install other version of video card drivers, also links from this topic can be helpful: http://paintstormstudio.com/forum/viewt ... f=6&t=1930

Okay, so i am still not absolutely sure what was wrong, but i have fixed it as far as i know. originally it seems painstorm downloaded to program files so i tried to redownload it instead to documents>painstorm since i saw in a different issue post that should be where it goes instead, this did not fix it. next i merged the program files data and documents data to see if that would do anything, it did not. finally i just deleted both off of my system manually, redownloaded the data making sure it went to the documents location and nothing was left from previous downloads and it finally works again. i lost all of my customizations like colors and locations of each tool window, but that can be fixed later. so, in the end if anyone else is having a problem anything like this, one of the first things you might want to check is to make sure that when you downloaded the program it didn't go to anywhere besides the documents folder.
