ipad brushes locking or deleted when using load default brushes

When using either the ipad pro or the desk top, if you go to load default brushes, this will a lot of times lock the brush oe completley delete it and only way to use that brush is to close the application and reopen it.

I'm experiencing this as well, using the desktop version on windows 8. I've also had one or two brushes glitch up (take on properties of other brushes?) and this is only fixed by re-starting the program multiple times.
