Mixer panel not working

Using my own selected brush or the eraser works. Any other tool in the MIXER panel does not. It just erases what was already there. Now the mixerl panel is empty and I can only fill it with custom brushes, not the brushes on top of the Mixer. Known issue?

Check first 2 brushes in the third category - it's a mixer brushes, check for toggling on an eraser.
