surface pro = no pressure sensitivity

I cannot get pressure sensitivity on my surface pro 4 in PSS. I've installed wintab driver, and tried changing the "tablet mode" to mode 2 or 3, but the program just crashes with a "critical error". Anyone get their Surface to work in PSS?
