The custom panels Eraser will not synchronize.

v2.42-17.09.2019 issue.
I use hotkey for Eraser mode.
The custom panels Eraser will not synchronize.
Maybe the synchronization of switching is slow.

I've tested it, for me it works correctly. Is anyone else have the same issue?

Thank you for the confirmation.
Click the eraser label with the pen => synchronize.
Synchronization is delayed when using the keyboard.
Synchronizes when the cursor is placed on the custom panel.
I can switch to the previous eraser with E, so change the usage.

"switch to eraser" and "eraser" is 2 different options.
E "eraser" calls last used eraser
"switch to eraser" change the current brush to eraser

Yes, it is.
Instead of selecting a transparent color, I used “Switch to Eraser”.
If i switch with a hotkey (eg c), the current brush becomes an eraser.
However, the operation is different from 2.40.1 and the custom panel is not synchronized.
I wanted to make a pencil eraser with a shortcut key, so I decided to make an eraser pencil and switch with E.

Not the same issue, but a kind of related issue:
For me the Eraser icons synchronize perfectly, but when I press TAB the Eraser icon in my custom panel doesn't change at all. It stays either on or off, depending on the last state before I pressed TAB.

(Additional note: My custom panel is set to "Ignore TAB", so it stays visible all the time.)
