Crash on mask select

I've been working on a painting for some time now and I noticed while working on it today that every time I click on any of the layer masks I've made the program crashes without warning.

Hm, it seems that some special conditions of the layer or the mask. Does it happen for any document and any mask?

YEah, it looks like there's some sort of unusual issue there, as I'm often doing similar manipulations and never encountered crashes when selecting a mask.

Only in a few masks within the same file but not all of them.
