working now

I'd sent in a post that included about PSS not working on Ugee 2150. Just to say it's working now; trying Yiynova drivers stopped PSS from opening fully, but using the latest (December) Ugee drivers, installing Painter 2016, then installing PSS, worked brilliantly. I'd read somewhere that installing other programs can help, and haven't tried just the Ugee drivers then installing PSS, but it's working and that's great. Love the program. Thanks, Cat

No problem; glad to. :-) Just to add, I've since done a pc format (Windows 8.1), and installed the newest drivers then PSS, without any other art programs installed. Absolutely great. No problems, except Microsoft ... read lots of posts that people over the last few months have hit the vcredist/windows refusing to update error, in lots of games and softwares. I've sent in another post about solutions, but, as a summary, the version of vcredist that actually fully installed (other versions stopped before installing), and enabled PSS to stop receiving a vcredist error and to run, is here: https://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/the ... f2702.html. While searching, I'd also found I was able to bypass windows update, that refused to work/update vcredist, using WSUS, which is at http://download.wsusoffline.net, and also found a great micro-pause/rests program, http://www.workrave.org. Windows update decided to work a while later, possibly triggered by WSUS installing lots of updates?, but it all took a day and a half to sort out, so it makes a Mac being the next pc much more likely, lol.

Thanks again for wonderful Paintstorm; I'm always learning something new eg just sorted out how to make workspace 4 very minimal for sketching and have the original workspace set up in black and with loads of brushes etc for painting, and how to use two custom panels to easily switch between, and I found out I can enlarge just those panels so the text is larger ... it's amazing how much can be done! :-)
