First strokes lose pressure after zoom

Hello,
Just wanted to find out what might be causing this issue. It started after the new update (2.2). I've tested the Wacom tablet in Adobe, Artrage, ZBrush, etc. with no issues, just in PaintStorm.
The first pen stroke doesn't register (high & low pressure both) but works after the first. This happens every time I zoom in or out, the first stroke lacks pressure.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled.
I've reset the tablet settings
I've removed and placed Paintstorm back into the tablet settings.
Unplugged and plugged and restarted the program.
What could be causing this?
PS. Keep kickin' ass because I'm using Paintstorm more than PS and others!
