Interruptions in lines

Hi, I’m new to this forum 
I love using paintstorm but often find brush settings problematic. Todays issue is I get interruptions in line whenever turning the brush/pencil.
I DID play around with settings to try and fix another matter - which i did - but accidentally this obviously occured instead.
