Cursor Preview with Wavom Art Pen set to Rotation

i´ve got the wacom art pen and pen rotation works great for the brush angle. BUT...

... the brush cursor with the straight line in the middle which indicates at which angle the brush ist used show only the correct angle while actually painting not while the pen is hovering. as soon as the pen touches the cintiqs surface the angle is displayed correctly)

i don't know if thats a bug or a feature, but this way its very hard to make controlled strokes using the pen rotation. it would make much more sense if the angle is displayed before actually making a paint stroke ( like i am used to in shop and corel painter)

hope that gets fixed soon, because this way that function is a not that comfortable to use. i am on OS X el capitan.

1)Do you enable "pen rotation" to the 1st angle slider or to the second?
2)Is it same for "pen direction"?

1) pen rotation is enabled for 1st angle
2) no, pen direction works like it should

1) pen rotation assigned to 1st angle. doesn't work on 2nd angle either
2) no. pen direction works just like it should.

BTW: i do own a Cintiq Companion too and just found out that there pen rotation doesn't work at all (win 10)

Wait a minute - you want to say that the pen rotation works fine at windows 7(except line inside circle), but it not works at windows 10?

no. i don't have any windows 7 machine right now.

1) i do have a cintiq 27 attached to a Mac running OSX El Capitan : Pen Rotation works as soon the pen touches the tablet, but does not display correct orientation while hovering.

2) i do also have a cintiq companion running win10. where pen rotation does not work at all.
