Paintstorm Studio terrible performance, unusuable on mac

Post by muchachotron » Sun Feb 21, 2016 4:43 am

using highest-spec new mac pro, 10.10.5 os

just installed latest version of paintstorm studio.

i was able to launch and use it for a few minutes once, but then it got terribly slow, and now the software barely runs. at launch the palettes crawl feebly into place, which takes minutes, and then it just sits there, and i must force quit. every time.

already tried dumping the .plist file

did i make a mistake purchasing this for mac? is it not yet mature enough to actually be used?

Seems that it works like not-focused window for you(some other soft open window above). Did you try to reinstall Paintstorm?

In the Finder sidebar, click Applications. Drag the app from the Applications folder to the Trash (located at the end of the Dock), then choose Finder > Empty Trash.
