Perhaps I don't understand how these functions work but I seem to get somewhat unpredictable results.
I've created a new folder for both forms and textures (actually a number for folders for forms). I go to add a new form (or texture) but there is no way to indicate which folder the form or texture is to go into. On occasion the form or texture will go into the folder that is associated with the current form or texture. I make sure that, for the current brush, I had selected either form or texture in the folder that I wanted the new form or texture to go into. It seems sometimes it does go where I expect, but more often it goes into the first form folder (which for some reason I named "Aa") or into the Default texture folder (My other texture folder has a higher alphabetic name).
So the question is how to get forms where I want them because I don't want to pollute the supplied form or texture libraries in the event I have to start over (or reinstall)?
Might I suggest that, like the dialog that goes with capturing a form, that you bring up the window that allows you to specify which folder you want your new form or texture put into? It would seem more consistent to me and make it clearer how this is supposed to work. This applies to V1.60 although I know it worked that way before. Also the Windows version, haven't tried the iPad.
Thanks.

Adding forms and textures - part 2
I think I may have answered my own question. If you select the first form in a folder, then import a new form, the new form will go in the selected folder. If on the other hand you have it set to any other form in the folder other than the first, the new form will go elsewhere (it looks to be in the first set of forms you have alphabetically. The same is true of textures.
This is possibly the intended way to insert new forms. However I think it would be much clearer if, as earlier suggested, you use the dialog box that allows you to select a folder.

Yes, textures are importing in the current selected category, same as the brush forms.
