Sounds like it just overloads your the processor does not have time to fix the cursor values. What size of the brush and what spacing parameter?kaeru wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 1:37 amIf I zoom in and work on a smaller area, the CPU doesn't spike up and I cannot get the line break to occur. If I zoom out to full canvas and try to draw circles very fast, I get line breaks everywhere. This happens even if I am drawing with the mouse, so wacom drivers are not part of the issue. (unless the wacom drivers are somehow causing a CPU strain). This behavior is specific to Painstorm studio, if I use Photoshop I can get the brush to lag a bit if I draw too fast or too big, but it will remain smooth once complete.
curvy line breaks and jumps while drawing
Re: curvy line breaks and jumps while drawing
I am terribly sorry for the very late reply !!
The brush size is 50, plain circle with no texture.
The zoom is at 50% and the effect worsens when zooming out and improves when zooming in.
Spacing is at 8.00, and the effect improves dramatically when increasing it, just as you suggested !
I hope this information is useful,
