Hello
I just bought PS for mac and am so impressed with what you've achieved in just 2 years!
A couple of minor issues which may have already been mentioned, or perhaps even newbie errors:
1. I'm using the latest version of PS on a 5k iMac, El Capitan, 24GB memory. Sometimes when launching from the Dock, PS just displays a white screen and the only solution is to force quit and relaunch until the panels load. This may be specifically related to launching from the dock but I'm not sure yet. I've opened PS from Launchpad a few times and so far that has worked consistently.
2. I Adjusted the global scale for the 5K screen. Although it doesn't affect painting, I currently have repeating UI elements as pointed out in the screenshot. The brush settings panel repeat can be fixed by simply making the height smaller until the repeats disappear.
Thanks
Boxy
Couple of minor issues
Re: Couple of minor issues
We know about this issue, it's happens because final paintstorm UI drawing have texture type and as a wallpaper texture drawing by titles. BUT texture size have 5K pixels wide, did you set global scale to 50% or something so little? Usually for Retina 5K requires global scale near 200%. Or you rescale Paintstorm scale by another way?
Re: Couple of minor issues
Thanks for the reply.
As far as I know I followed the instruction: Opened the app, file>options>global scale. I had to set the global scale to the maximum slider value of 450 to make the UI big enough to read.
In the second screenshot below, I dragged the window to reduce its width until the duplication disappeared and the window close/minimise icons reappeared. the mac's built in screenshot utility seems to suggest this happens at 2048 pixels wide.
Regarding the white screen launch - there currently seems to be a definite pattern where I have to launch it twice. The first time gives a white screen, force quit/launch then loads the UI panels as expected. These are only minor niggles, I must say you have made a brilliant painting app!
Thanks
